Step 5: Disconnect the click wheel. Using a razorblade or the flat screwdriver, carefully separate the clickwheel connector from the motherboard.  (reference the picture)  With the flat screwdriver just carefully slide the blade between the ribbon connector cable  and the motherboard until you get to the connector.  If it has not yet released, carefully lift up with the flat blade, 1 millimeter.  It will release.
